Now that it’s winter, I’m ready to see some fluffy snowflakes! To get you in the mood, too, I’ve made a couple of 8 x 10 “Let it Snow” farmhouse winter printables to share with you.
Printables are very budget-friendly and they can make a quick and easy addition to your farmhouse winter decor. Check out both prints to see which you like the best.
“LET IT SNOW” FARMHOUSE WINTER PRINTABLES
FIRST PRINT – BROWN AND SOFT TURQUOISE
I love the weathered wood background in the first farmhouse winter printable. The delicate snowflakes are such a pretty, soft shade of turquoise and the “Let it Snow” phrase is a cozy cream color.
I purchased my frame at Walmart for only $4.00. What a bargain! They keep the $4.00 frames on an end cap next to the frame aisle.
The frame color looks more coordinated with my printable than my picture shows. One day, I hope to figure out my camera settings!
SECOND PRINT – WHITE AND CHARCOAL
The second “Let it Snow” winter printable is a white and grey weathered wood background with the same kind of snowflakes. The blue will vary in color as the snowflakes are printed on a white background instead of the brown in the first print.
I painted my frame for this printable because I didn’t have one on hand that looked good. Originally, the frame was an oak color.
I made a charcoal brown color by mixing Delta Ceramcoat Charcoal and Spice Brown, half and half. No new frame or paint was purchased for this print ~ I’m so thrifty!
Both printables were printed at my local office supply store using 110 lb. cardstock as I didn’t like the way they looked after printed on my home computer.
Office supply stores have a laser printer which produce richer colors versus what your home computer will print. Each print cost me less than $1.25.
I highly recommend using 110 lb. cardstock for printing.
Now you have two free options to help you decorate your home for a winter farmhouse style. Which one will you choose to print?
