Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party #27! As a guest host for the month of July, I’ve featured four talented bloggers who shared their DIY home decor ideas with us at last week’s party, plus one who shared a yummy strawberry recipe.
Niki from Life as a Leo Wife, the creator of the link party, invites bloggers to share all of their wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, and recipes. Link ups are shared every Thursday through Monday.
To our readers and subscribers, we hope you enjoy visiting all of the blogs for lots of inspiration!
DIY HOME DECORATING IDEAS
Before we get to the party features, I thought you might want to see one of my DIY home decor ideas, too!
I made this DIY farmhouse flower arrangement by making over a thrift store basket and filling it up with pretty lavender and peony blooms. Pop open that link to check out how easy it was to create!
FEATURED DIY HOME DECOR IDEAS!
MaryJo, from Master Pieces of My Life, is giving us a tour through all the updates in her flower and veggie gardens.
She likes to bring the outside in by decorating with pretty blooms throughout her home. The hydrangea flowers are so beautiful, aren’t they?!
Donna at An Organized Season shows us how we can update and makeover an old basket with paint.
She had her basket on hand, but thrift stores always have lots of inexpensive baskets to choose from and they’re perfect for using throughout your home decor. I love the wood applique she added for extra personality!
Rustic Origin, teaches us how to make a cotton throw in only one hour. They indicate that this is a simple and easy project and you don’t have to be a sewing expert.
Their instructional video should be very helpful. Custom making a sofa or chair throw for ourselves is an excellent DIY home decor idea!
Thrifting Wonderland leads us through the process they took to create their red and white dinner table setting.
This striking red home decor idea, isn’t only for holidays, but for decorators who use red as an accent color…. like me! Doesn’t that flower arrangement look great in the teapot?
FEATURED RECIPE!
This strawberry bundt cake looks the yummiest of all yums! Jenna, from The Painted Apron, doctored up a Duncan Hines cake mix to make it taste like it’s fresh from the bakery.
While you’re on her blog getting the cake recipe, check out her links to more strawberry recipes.

I can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things that are shared here. You can link up to five family-friendly posts. Since the link party is new, you’re free to share anything you like. New, old, link parties, giveaways, anything as long as it’s not offensive. That may change as the link party grows, but for now, have at it! Don’t just link and run. Visit few other posts before yours or peruse and visit a few that spark your interest. It’s not required, but I would love for you to share a link to the party or my blog in your post or somewhere on your blog. Remember, in order to be featured, you must be following Niki on at least one social media account.
FEATURED BLOGGER GUIDELINES: Follow Niki on FB & IG for more recognition! If you are featured this week, let me know in the comments if you’re following me on Facebook and/or Instagram. Just a short “following” will do. If you are following, Niki will schedule a post promoting your featured post across all of my social media accounts including FB, IG, Twitter, MeWe, etc. I will tag you in the post so that all of your followers can see how great your post was as well! The social media features happen throughout the weekend and just before next week’s party (usually on Tuesday and Wednesday nights). Last week I had two of the featured bloggers let me know they were following, so they were featured last night as a lead-up to this week’s party. I love showing y’all some love! If it’s been a while since you’ve been featured and you’re following, leave me a comment just in case. I’ve got a lot of craziness going on and a terrible short-term memory lol!
