Crafty ideas and pumpkins recipes are the features this week at the Home Matters Party. You’ll find ideas for sewing, soapmaking, and recipes for pumpkin desserts. Enjoy!

Welcome to the weekly Home Matters Link Party #400!!
We have made it to a milestone number of link party posts!
The 400th party is here and we are making some tweaks to the party format and to how we do things.
Don’t worry, you will still enjoy linking up to our party every week.
Even better is that there will be a fun giveaway chance with this post.
Read below for some of the details.
Starting with this week’s party, there will be a monthly and weekly theme to the party. The theme is not only for us, the hosts, to share our thoughts and our projects that may showcase the theme, but it opens up conversations with you, our fabulous readers, to share what that theme may mean to your home decor style, craft project or favorite family recipe.
Each week as we visit your posts, any posts that share something within the weekly theme may get an extra feature. However, that does not mean you only get chosen for a feature if you contribute to the theme for the week.
Any and all posts have an option to be selected for a feature by any of the hosts. The themes just make for a fun way for all of us to get to know each other better. Resharing of formerly shared posts is totally okay.
Theme for the Month of October: Pumpkins and Breast Cancer Awareness
This Week’s Theme: Pumpkin Recipes
Next Week’s Theme: Pumpkin Crafts and Decorations
PINTEREST: Also starting with this 400th party, the Home Matters Linky Party Features Pinterest Board has returned. Each week the featured blogger’s posts from all three host sites will be pinned and shared on this board.
INSTAGRAM + FACEBOOK: Each week the featured posts will be combined in a collage image and shared on Instagram and Facebook, with a link to the party and each featured blogger will be tagged.
THE 400TH PARTY GIVEAWAY!
One lucky blogger who links up this week will win a $25 Amazon gift card. The winner will be selected at random from bloggers who share a link this week. Sharing multiple links does not increase your chance of winning. All you have to do is link up at least one blog post, and your name will be entered to win the drawing.
CRAFTY IDEAS AND PUMPKIN RECIPES

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
My mom was a two-time breast cancer survivor. Luckily, both times it was discovered early due to her faithful mammogram screenings.
It’s my understanding that 3D mammograms are best for those of us who have dense breasts. If you aren’t aware of 3D screenings, you may want to make inquiries.
Let me know in the comments if you are participating in any fundraising walks or runs this month or if you’d like to share anything you think would benefit others regarding breast cancer?

Hi Allyson, it’s great to be partying with you all again. I took a blogging break and then ended up with covid, so it’s been a while. I’m enjoying all the fall inspiration shared here this week. 🙂
Marie, thank you for returning to share your awesome projects. I’m glad you’ve recovered from Covid! I caught it before vaccines were available.
Allyson, I also wanted to thank you for the info about 3D mammograms, I hadn’t heard that before and my results always come back that I have dense breasts so I am going to ask about it, Thank You!
Jenna, I’m glad I could share something new about mammograms. I always get the 3D scans. If I remember correctly, some insurance don’t cover 3D, but I feel safer getting them.
Thanks so much Allyson! Happy 400th! Have a great weekend~
Jenna, thank you for sharing your projects each week at the party!
Thanks so much for hosting each week Allyson! Great features and I can’t wait to try Melissa’s lilac sugar scrub cubes! My favorite scent ever. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for sharing, Denise! I thought those scrub cubes would smell so good and be fun to make.
