Frame my free winter printable wall art to help create a winter wonderland in your home!
I used a wonderful snowflake quote on my winter print and added some soft blue snowflakes to make beautiful, wintery home decor to hang as wall art, display on a table, or prop on a mantel.
Printable wall art is an inexpensive and quick way to decorate your home. It’s also convenient since you can easily change the prints out for each season or holiday.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- 110 lb. card stock
- scissors or paper cutter
- 8 x 10 frame
- home printer or laser printer
HOME PRINTER VERSUS LASER PRINTER
My print was done on a laser printer at Staples which shows crisp, brighter colors. The print from your home printer will show much softer colors.
I highly recommend using 110 lb. cardstock as printing paper and a laser print.
The colors vary a lot when printing on a home printer versus a laser printer.
Laser prints from an office supply store cost me less than $1.00 per sheet on 110 lb. cardstock. (2024 prices have increased)
FRAME SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR WINTER PRINTABLE
1. CRAFT STORES: Use coupons or shop sales at craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michael’s to find deals on 8 x 10 frames, which I did for my Thanksgiving free printable.
2. AMAZON is always an easy option to find budget-friendly frames, like this black 8×10 frame or this black 8×10 frame.
3. PAINT an existing frame like I did for my “Let it Snow” free print. I used the same charcoal frame for today’s new printable, too.
4. DEPARTMENT STORES, like Boscov’s, have a special group of frames for inexpensive prices.
5. DISCOUNT STORES, such as, T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s, or Home Goods often have good deals.
6. DOLLAR TREE is always the great choice to find frames for those on a strict budget.

I am loving this $10 or less idea Allyson! Frames are stinkin’ expensive these days, but I love making art for our walls too. I am in love with the door printables, so I will be downloading them for sure. I am kind of a door collector, lol. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Happy New Year Allyson. Thanks for sharing one of my favorite winter quotes. Hope you’re staying safe.
I’m glad you like the winter quote, Rhonda. Thanks so much for visiting!
Allyson thank you for sharing the printable with us. I love this saying and how pretty it looks in a frame.
Terrie, so glad you like my framed printable! When I found the snowflake quote, I knew it would be my favorite for winter.
I love this printable! So cute and would go so well in my breakfast room with my snowflakes. Also, thanks for the info on the frames. I need 6 11 x 16 frames and I am having a hard time finding some reasonable priced ones that are pretty! Love this one. Thanks for sharing the printable.
Tammy, I’m so happy you like my printable! I’m able to use the same frame for switching out for other printables I have as well.
Happy New Year to you, Allyson! Thank you for the tips for creating prints on cardstock. Great idea for brightening up our wintertime homes… <3 I have wanted to make Christmas cards larger for hanging for years but didn't really know how to do it. Now I have the "recipe!" Fun to be with you on today's $10 on the 10th tour…
Enjoy your sweet snowflake print,
Hugs,
Barb 🙂
Fun sharing with you on $10 on 10th, too! The printable is made with vectors that I manipulated in a graphic software program and I added my favorite snowflake quote. Making printables is lots of fun!
Cute idea and perfect quote – Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Patti. Glad you like the snowflake quote!
