You’re going to love using these whimsical St. Patrick’s Day free printables for home decor and the Irish holiday.
Choose your favorite design to print out and you’ll have instant seasonal decor to display in the time it takes to cut out the printable and pop it in a frame!
TWO DIFFERENT DESIGNS ARE AVAILABLE:
The “Lucky” four leaf clover polka dot design comes in a 5×7 and an 8×10 size.
The “Luck of the Irish” 8×10 free printable has several four leaf clovers showing a variety of fun patterned designs.
Using free printables are one of my favorite ways to decorate on a budget.
If you’re like me, you don’t want to spend a lot of money decorating for a holiday like St. Paddy’s Day or Valentine’s Day, where the decorations are only up for a few days.

HOW TO PAINT YOUR OWN FRAME FOR THE IRISH FREE PRINTABLE
My “Luck of the Irish” free printable is the second of the DIY St. Patrick’s Day decorations. For this print I decided to try a different look by using a gold frame instead of a black frame to give a nod to a pot of gold.
I didn’t have an 8×10 frame on hand to use for this Irish free printable so I went to the Dollar Tree to see what they had to offer. They were sold out of the gold. Wasn’t this supposed to be a quick and easy holiday home decor?
Off to the next store! I ended up having to go to Walmart, and of course, they were no gold frames in sight. What?
I had no plan B so I did a little brainstorming and ended up grabbing a black frame and a bottle of Apple Barrel craft paint in Kings Gold. Frames that would have been easier to hold the paint were too expensive so I went with the black one.
Painting the frame was a fun way to make a bold and whimsical statement for St. Patrick’s Day.
Lightly sand the frame so the paint will adhere better. I painted 3 coats of the gold craft paint for complete coverage. Now, you’ve got fun holiday home decor!
THIS COLOR IS WHAT I USED TO PAINT MY FRAME:

For best results, I suggest printing on 110 lb. card stock using a laser printer.
LASER PRINTER COMPARED TO HOME PRINTER
Having an office supply store service use their laser printer will show the printable colors more vibrant and crisp versus from your home computer.
If you choose to use your home printer, the colors will be softer and lighter than the actual printable shows.
