It’s time to start preparing your goodie bags for February 14th. Don’t wait until the last minute! My free DIY Valentine’s Day treat bag toppers use printables that can be downloaded and printed at your convenience.
Making versus buying premade bags is a great way to give a homemade touch and to show you went the extra mile to give a sweet gift.
The free printable toppers are available in three different designs. Two are printed with “Happy Valentine’s Day” with red and white hearts and a light grey background, and the third is “Hugs and Kisses” with an XOXO background.

PRINTING TIPS FOR YOUR BAG TOPPER FREE DOWNLOADS
I have my printables made at Staples on their laser printer. It only costs about 85 cents for each cardstock sheet of paper.
For best results, I recommend printing your free printables on a laser printer versus a home printer. The colors will be more vibrant and crisp looking. A home printer produces more subdued colors.
Your treat bag toppers should be printed on 110 lb. white cardstock paper. Regular computer paper is too thin to attach to favor bags.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE VALENTINE’S DAY GOODIE BAGS
Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut the printed template out. Carefully, fold each topper in half and give it a crisp crease.
After filling the treat bag, tent the printed topper and place it over the top of the bag in a sandwich manner. Staple together once on each side and in the middle.
Now, you have cute homemade treat bags to share so everyone can have a fun Valentine’s Day!

These are awesome Allyson! Great idea to have these printed at Staples; they look so polished! I love the hugs and kisses but they’re all great, so I think I’d be inclined to print the backside too so they’re reversible.
I’m glad you like my treat bag toppers, Sara. I prefer a laser printer since the printables turn out more crisp and true to color.
Thank you so much for your free V-Day treat bag toppers, Allyson! How unique and creative!
Thank you, Gail! I tried to be a little different with the grey, black, and red color combination.
