variety of crafts: denim rag rub, diy soap scrub, crochet bag

THIS WEEK’S FEATURES:

Claire, from Pillar Box Blue, gives instructions to us for how to make a rag rug from denim. What a great project to upcycle old jeans. Claire also shows us how to make the denim yarn and how to weave the fabric. She shares lots of denim crafts other than this one, so head over to her blog to see everything!

Ann, from Ann’s Entitled Life, is sharing her tutorial for making easy creamsicle sugar scrub bars. They are so pretty and they are indeed the color of a creamsicle. They are a soap base of goat’s milk and natural ingredients. If you’ve never made a scrub bar before, pop over to take a look at how she made them!

Laura, from Over the Apple Tree, is showing off her unique crocheted crossover bag. The pattern uses a sunburst granny square. I’m not a crocheter, but my favorite kind of pattern are granny squares. Drop by her blog to find out where you can get this inexpensive pattern to make a bag of your own!

Beth, from Creatively Beth, has the cutest monarch butterfly button art project that you can make with your kids. I love making button crafts and I don’t even have kids. Beth provides a free printable pattern to help make the base of the butterfly. Just think of all the different colors you can use on your butterflies!
